WFM Market News - August 8, 2024
National Farmers Market week runs from August 4th through August 10th this year; today is WFM’s day to celebrate local agricultural producers and the vital role that Farmers Markets play in a thriving community. We honor the growers who provide local, fresh and healthy produce, dairy, and meat products, and whose efforts allow us to offer such wonderful foods to our customers, who in turn sustain the farming community.
For this week only, we will double the SNAP match to $20 per customer to enjoy the produce of the peak of the summer growing season!
WFM is holding a Food Drive this week for the Little Free Food Pantry that’s located at the Market entrance and is avaialble to any community member experiencing food insecurity. Bring your donations of non-perishable items and canned goods to the ECOTA table at the Market. POP Club Members who bring a Little Free Food Pantry donation item this week will receive an additional $2 in POP Bucks. We thank all of you for your generosity!
Want to support the Market and show your WFM pride? Stop by the Entrance and purchase a limited edition 10th Season WFM keychain for only $5.00! Also at the table this week: free “I 💚 Farmer’s Market” temporary tattoos available to all while supplies last!
See you Thursday!
