WFM Market News - October 17 , 2024

Hi Market Friends,

It’s WFM’s final Market of 2024, and what a season it has been! We’ve loved serving the folks who attend our Market regularly, and meeting everyone discovering WFM for the first time. We had a blast with our POP Club kids this year, and can’t wait to do it again next season!

The Market Management Team would like to express our deepest gratitude to the volunteers, vendors, and musicians whose effort, talent, and expertise have made this season fun and successful. We are grateful to our financial sponsors, who fund WFM’s $10 SNAP Match, helping folks to be able to purchase more of the freshest locally-grown foods available. Sponsors also funded POP Club, which encourages kids ages 4-12 to learn about and try the healthy fruits and vegetables available throughout season. These two programs would not exist without their generosity, and we cannot express enough thanks.

We are also thankful for the support of the Episcopal Church of the Atonement, our gracious and dedicated host.

Lastly, to our customers, who wait patiently for the opening of the Market each summer, and return throughout the season, thank you. We have watched kids grow up each year, have become friends with so many regular customers, and have a deep appreciation for the families and individuals who support our efforts each year- thank you. This Market is truly a remarkable sum of its parts- we exist and thrive because of each other. Thank you.

See you Thursday!
